Foreword

This document describes the rules to be followed during Epulze professional tournaments by all participants. Failure to follow the rules may be penalized.

While the contents of this rulebook are to be followed, it should be noted that the administration of the tournament may in extreme cases take decisions that are not mentioned, or go against the rulebook, with the intention to preserve fair play.

Definitions

Range of Validity

The Bitsler cup is operated by Epulze (Esports Pulze AB).

This rulebook is the only rulebook valid for its participants and matches.

All participants state their understanding and acceptance of the rules with their participation.

Participant

A participant is either a team or individual taking part in an Epulze tournament.

Appeals

Any decisions will be dealt out by the Tournament administration.

The participants will be contacted by our admins via Discord should this occur.

Once the participants have received a penalty, they may submit an appeal within 24 hours to contest the penalty to Epulze Staff.

Validity

If any of the rules mentioned in this book becomes illegal, invalid or otherwise obsolete, that will not affect the validity of any other rules mentioned in the rulebook.

Confidentiality

Any communication with staff such as private messages, emails, support tickets is considered private, and publication of these conversations without written approval by Epulze staff is strictly prohibited.

Amendments

Epulze reserves the right to amend this rulebook at any point without further notice. Epulze also reserves the right to make decisions not specifically covered by this rulebook to preserve fair play.

Broadcasting rights

All non official streams must include all and only official media assets of the tournament. In order to receive these please contact our staff, they will be able to help you further.

All streams must be observed via DotaTV , restreaming the official tournament broadcasts is not allowed.


Rules for participating in Epulze tournaments

Following rules must be adhered to in order to participate in Epulze tournament

Players

Players must be at least 13 years old and have a by Epulze validated profile on Epulze.com

Players cannot participate for the same event from multiple regions. In addition, Epulze follows the official DPC regulations.

Information

Players are required to send Epulze all required information that includes Full name, contact, and steam profile when requested.

Players are required to use their official nickname approved by Valve that they have submitted to the DPC.

These nicknames cannot contain offensive words or phrases.

Players must participate in matches on their own account.

Players must be capable of using a webcam during matches they participate in to prevent foul play such as outside assistance.

Sponsors

Sponsors that are widely known for adult and mature themes are not allowed in Epulze tournaments.

Name sponsors cannot sponsor a particular sponsored part of a team name for multiple teams within a tournament.

Teams

The roster of a team must be disclosed to administration latest 48 hours before the first match of the event starts. A player may only play for one team for the entire duration of the event, including qualifiers if there are any.
